Full gender parity won’t be achieved in any of our lifetimes, and we are seeing a concerning roll back in women’s rights in many parts of the world. According to UN Women, we are off track to achieve SDG targets on gender by 2030; as of 2023, no targets are met or almost met for Goal 5 (gender equality).
